Gas Field Services, LLC Announces Strategic Acquisition of Equipment Transport, LLC
Comments Off on Gas Field Services, LLC Announces Strategic Acquisition of Equipment Transport, LLCGas Field Services, LLC is pleased to announce its third strategic acquisition since 2019. With an effective date of October 31, 2023 Gas Field Services is acquiring Equipment Transport, LLC, an energy service provider based in Carlisle, PA and a subsidiary of Pilot Water Solutions. Like the two previous acquisitions, this transaction will bring significant expansions to our employee roster, our geographic footprint, and our equipment inventory.
With the acquisition, Gas Field Services will be adding over 60 trucks to its fleet, approximately 150 employees, and 7 new service locations. Gas Field will be gaining the corporate office in Carlisle, PA and a modern service center in Washington, PA as well as locations in Carrollton, Steubenville, Barnesville, Newcomerstown, and Marietta, Ohio. The employees range from drivers, supervisors, mechanics, dispatchers, and administrative personnel.
Tommy Shrader, President and Chief Executive Officer of Gas Field Services, commented:
“I’m very pleased to welcome the former Equipment Transport employees into the Gas Field Services family. Combined with the trucks and additional service locations, they will allow Gas Field to continue its northward expansion into the Ohio Utica Shale and it will be good to, once again, be operating in the Marcellus Shale of southwest Pennsylvania. While we are predominantly a water hauling company, Gas Field also offers disposal well and other drilling and completion support services to our customers. Equipment Transport’s location services will fit nicely with the services we currently offer. We look forward to providing our new customers the same high quality, safe, and environmentally compliant service Gas Field Services has become known for.”

In 2019, Gas Field Services, LLC developed a strategy to expand both its geographic footprint and its northern customer base. That strategy specifically targeted the east to west I-70 corridor and the oil and gas operators active in the Utica Shale of eastern Ohio.
Today, Gas Field Services is proud to announce another major step in the execution of that strategy with the acquisition of all assets, equipment, and tools related to the oil and gas operations of CS Trucking, LLC. With the acquisition, Gas Field Services will be adding over 60 trucks to its fleet. In addition to water trucks, this acquisition includes a variety of trailers, winch trucks, and dry bulk trucks which will allow Gas Field Services to expand into the drilling and completions phases of the oil and gas exploration process. Also being assumed is a shop located in Dover, Ohio. The effective date of the acquisition is November 14, 2022.
Tommy Shrader, President and Chief Executive Officer of Gas Field Services, commented:
“Once again, the Gas Field Services team has executed on its expansion strategy to expand its services and customer base in Ohio. The trucks we have acquired will significantly add to our existing fleet of trucks while the additional equipment will allow us to offer new services to our current customers and other service providers. The Dover, Ohio shop extends our reach further north into Ohio and will significantly increase the scale and scope of our operations. Most importantly, we look forward to working with the strong management team and drivers of CS Trucking, LLC to seamlessly integrate all the new employees into Gas Field Services.”

Our response to Covid19
Comments Off on Our response to Covid19UPDATE: CORPORATE OFFICE REOPENED 06.01.20
We have decided to close our Corporate office in Rosedale, VA effective March 15, 2020 — and instruct our team to work remotely. We support the proactive, preventative measures being taken by state and local governments and other public and private entities to mitigate against community spread in our region and will do our part. At the same time, we will continue to conduct business as usual at Gas Field. That includes providing all support necessary to you and your teams on this and other critical matters.
____________________________________________________________________________
Given the current data, it is reasonable to assume that heightened attention to personal hygiene and disinfection together with “social distancing” will be necessary to reduce the rate of spread of COVID, which appears to be geometric at this time.
What does all this mean for us? First, we each have a role to play in addressing this pandemic. Certainly, practicing intense personal hygiene protocols and asking everyone in your organization to do the same is critical. In addition,
we believe that NOW is the time to engage in practical “social distancing” in a fashion that enables business continuity but materially reduces the number and frequency of human interaction. In our previous correspondence, we talked about severe limitations on travel and on who may enter your facilities. We believe NOW is the time to take the next step: take action to reduce person-to-person physical interaction among your associates. While each company and each facility within each company has its own constraints regarding how much “social distancing” can actually be implemented while sustaining operations, we recommend that you seriously consider each of the following:
Consider asking all associates who can work from home to do so, inclusive of office workers, salespeople, engineers and other administrators.
Consider revisions to shift scheduling and staffing.
Consider organizing breaks in a manner that minimizes social interaction.
Consider what can be done to minimize the number of associates who use mass transit or car pooling to get to and from work.
Eliminate all non-essential meetings.
While there are practical limits to how much social distancing can be practiced in a production environment, the experts advise that EVERY action that reduces interaction is helpful. -
